Being right
There is a moment when the energy revs up that a fork appears. Pull back, give up, take foot off the gas or
Push harder and further.
To pull back takes some pain and tension away but doesn’t get the goal.
Pushing gets the goal but burns the jets and causes pain
Results focused
Clear objective that meets requirement
Embrace competition
Block out distractions
Quiet inner monologue
“It is only a lot of money if you make it over a long period of time.”
A guy I used to work with gave me this advice. anyone can rise up and get lucky but true greatness is sustained. If you truly are good you can maintain the flow of cash and energy.
Everyday I want to quit, get fired or be released. If I have a good day I want to say I proved my ability, drop the mic and walk away. But true greatness is staying in the moment and getting better. Achieving the results day in and day out.
I find it interesting my free time vacillates between mindlessly consuming content on my phone/television and writing things or creating.
I write a blog post then I quickly go read things and settle into the low brain function just reading or watching what others produced.
Thoughts if the future are like a pocket I crawl into to avoid stress. But many of the thoughts are so removed from the present they have no way of being obtained. Reeling in goals of the future while simultaneously increasing expectations of the present create more realigned objectives.
That sickening syrupy sludge that washed over me when I take my eye off my objective. Stay focused on achieving the goal.
I lost my mojo. My energy got sidetracked. I am falling into familiar unproductive habits. Swift is the fall when I lose my edge.
