7:26pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Chandler, Arizona, USA, Friday night, September 9, 2022. Left the hotel in Dublin, California eleven hours ago. Drove to Oakland, flew to Orange County then drove to Arizona. Traffic was bad through Riverside and it rained outside of Phoenix but I survived. It is good to be back in Arizona.

A little financial stress
5:15pm, pacific standard time, hotel in Dublin, California, USA, Thursday evening, September 8, 2022. A little stressed about finances right now. Nothing major; just have to figure out taxes and expense reports. Also, I am aware of the need to resolve my housing situation in the next couple of months. Tomorrow I fly back to Orange County then drive to Arizona for the weekend.
Typical day
6:11pm, pacific standard time, hotel in Dublin, California, USA, Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Felt a little tired this morning. I wasn’t able to workout or go for a walk, but managed to have a good day at the office with meetings all morning and training in the afternoon. At 5:30pm I came back to the hotel, had dinner and now am watching television.
Relaxing and staying cool
6:24pm, pacific standard time, hotel in Dublin, California, USA, Tuesday evening, September 6, 2022. It is hot out here today. The high was 113. I took my daughter to school, caught a flight north, worked for a couple of hours then grabbed dinner. Now I am at the hotel relaxing and staying cool.
Labor Day afternoon
3:31pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA, Monday afternoon, September 5, 2022, Labor Day. Spent most of the afternoon cleaning the kitchen, loading the dishwasher, doing laundry and prepping for the week. Not only am I packing for Dublin, California this week but Chandler, Arizona next weekend. Everything is in order for both trips. Time to relax and enjoy the the holiday afternoon.
Going to buy a book
4:37pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA, Sunday afternoon, September 4, 2022. Today was the hottest morning I can recall in Dana Point; 81 degrees before the sun came up. Luckily, the heat peaked early but, it is still warm outside. I went for a walk and worked out this morning but haven’t done much else. I am going to go out and buy a book.
Saturday night
6:11pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA, Saturday night, September 3, 2022. Took the dog for a full walk this morning, got coffee, worked out, did laundry and grocery shopping. Now waiting for pizza to arrive, sipping a beer and watching football.
Hot today
6:07pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA, Friday evening, September 2, 2022. Hot today. Took my daughter to school, hosted a call for the Dublin site, answered emails, then came back to the apartment. The rest of the day was spent helping around the house, mostly setting up a portable air conditioner which was very much needed.
September 1
4:29pm, pacific standard time, Oakland, California, USA, airport, Thursday afternoon, September 1, 2022. More meetings and staff reviews today. The office was non-stop from 8am to 3pm. I left for the airport at 3:30, dropped off the rental car and looked for something to eat. There are not many dining options at the airport. I ended up having a protein bar and some water. I will grab dinner when I get to Orange County.
