I won’t look back fondly

6:43pm, pacific standard time, hotel in Dublin, California, USA, Wednesday night, October 5, 2022. It is the two year anniversary of restarting my career in hospice operations. That position was not very good, and the company was garbage but, the job got me where I am today, so I am thankful. Often, when I look back, I realize painful things lead to happier moments. Which happens to be the case now. And while I appreciate the job I started two years ago, I won’t look back on it fondly any time soon.
