May 31, 2024, Friday night, 11:23pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. I just Woke up and remembered I hadn’t entered a post today. Mostly a work day. Gym in the morning, took my daughter to school. Then took the dog to the groomer, picked her up, dropped her off at Aliso Viejo, then picked my daughter up from school. This evening I stayed a bit and put together a new gaming/computer chair for my daughter then came home to Dana point, made frozen pizza for dinner and watched The Office until going to bed.

May 30, 2024, Thursday morning, 7:31am, pacific standard time, hotel room in San Bernardino, California,USA. I am in a rare good mood where the universe is in total balance. I slept until 5:35am then went downstairs and walked on the treadmill for an hour. Memories of Wyoming, Utah, California and Arizona flooded my mind. I feel content with my place in the world. I think it was a blessing to stay here last night and to drive to Palm desert yesterday. I am in a familiar place but without obligations to visit branches this week. that gives me just enough nostalgia without having to step away entirely.

May 29, 2024, Wednesday night, 8:43pm, pacific standard time, hotel in San Bernardino, California,USA. Today was the monthly operating review. It went well but I when I finished I left the presentation on an addendum slide. That ended up being the most awkward part of the meeting. The region president was on the call and asked questions about data points that had nothing to do with the meeting. Lesson learned; never leave information on slides not related to the story. It seems like easy advice but I have been burned by it a couple times. I need to control what they see and think and not leave unfinished thoughts visible. After the meeting I drove to palm desert and got groceries then came back to stay in San Bernardino. A friend came over this evening and we hung out for a while. It was nice to have company rather than being alone.

May 28, 2024, Tuesday evening, 6:20pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point,California,USA. Dropped my daughter off at tennis this evening. It is her first lesson. Hopefully she likes it. She hasn’t really played before so it will be a new experience. Today I took her to school and picked her up. In between I worked from home, mostly on my PowerPoint presentation for tomorrow’s monthly operating review. I will feel less stressed once it is over.

May 27, 2024, Memorial Day, Monday night, 8:49pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Got up early and did my blue lantern walk followed by the gym. Then I came home and worked on my Monthly operating review presentation all morning. This afternoon I took my daughter to get lunch then went back to the Aliso apartment and took a nap with the dog. Later this evening my daughter came over and we played pickle ball for an hour. When we finished I came home and ate dinner. As I was watching tv an old friend from Arizona reached out. It was nice to hear from her. I usually say hi on special occasions but we don’t get to dialogue often. Tonight was good. I miss her even though it has been almost two years since we saw each other.

May 25,26, Friday, Saturday night, 8:22pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Yesterday played pickle ball with my daughter at the court by my house. It was fun but there was no net. Tomorrow I am going to buy a cheap portable one so we can actually play instead of just volleying. This morning my daughters mom went to see her sister near Pasadena so I drove to Aliso Viejo and spent the day with my daughter and the dog. I also bought a standing desk for work and assembled it this evening. Tomorrow I am good to work on a presentation that is due Wednesday.

May 24, 2024, Friday night, 9:24pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point,California,USA. Spent the day working and the evening with my daughter here in Dana Point at my apartment. That is rare. She usually never visits. She wanted to go through her storage bins and find things worth Money. Her final haul were some Shopkin figures and an old Nintendo DS 2. We also watched a Ryan Trahan YouTube video where he travels From Europe to the USA on 1 cent. Overall it was a nice evening hanging out with my daughter and enjoying a special moment.

May 23, 2024, Thursday evening, 6:12pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Had a good time in Temecula last night. Went to a cowboy bar in old town then drove to Murrieta. Went to a sports bar and a karaoke bar then came back to the hotel. Stayed up way too late. I have been hurting and dragging all day. I am too old to stay out like that and be productive the next day.

May 22, 2024, Wednesday afternoon, 4:38pm, pacific standard time, hotel room in Temecula, California,USA. Worked from home this morning then came to Temecula to see an old friend. We are going to walk around old town this evening and grab a drink or two. I will head back to Dana point in the morning. Work is almost done and I am going to enjoy free time tonight.

May 21, 2024, Tuesday evening, 5:23, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point,California,USA. Drove to San Diego for meetings today then got home at 4:30pm. Relaxing on my couch doing New York times puzzles and watching catfish on mtv. I have been enjoying life lately. Tomorrow I am working from home then going to Temecula to stay the night.
