Mixed blessing

February 1, 2025, Saturday night, 7:23pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. This morning was rough. I woke up hungover and couldn’t shake the nausea and headache. Subsequently my day didn’t start until 2pm. I went to the gym then took the dog for a walk. Afterwards, my daughter and I went to the music store to buy guitar picks. We looked at a couple electric guitars and made a pact to buy one for her birthday in August if she was still interested. For now her grandpa’s hand me down acoustic will suffice. When we got home I showed her a couple chords. Then we played some video games. All things considered it was nice to have a different schedule today. I could have done without the awful morning but, nonetheless, it was a nice day.
