March 20,2025,Thursday night,8:11pm,pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Second day in a row getting to work before 7:30am. Big difference in traffic congestion leaving at 7am compared to 7:15am. It probably saves me ten to fifteen minutes of drive time leaving slightly earlier. I stayed late today and took the 405 south to pick my daughter up and take her to music. I hit a little traffic but it was fine. I avoided a toll and had time to kill before 7pm anyway. And I tried something new. that is always good.

March 19,2025,Wednesday evening,6:04,pacific standard time,parking lot,school of rock,San Juan Capistrano,California,USA. I woke up at 3:30am this morning. Same as yesterday. It was a little harder because I waffled between getting up at 3:30 or 4:30. 3:30 is more challenging but gives me more time in the morning and allows me to beat traffic. I just need to mentally prepare for the earlier wake-up. I have been slogging through the day. Once my daughter is done with music lessons I am going to drop her off, get fuel for the car then head straight to bed.

March 18,2025,Tuesday evening,7:05pm,pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Today was social worker appreciation day. We had the social workers come to the office and treated them to lunch. The staff did a nice job decorating. Afterwards the three social workers received gifts and treat baskets. They seemed to enjoy the attention and we had great conversations. All in all a day well spent.

March 17,2025, Monday afternoon,4:45pm,pacific standard time,office in Costa Mesa, California,USA. Started the day with meetings then went out marketing the rest of the morning. After that I sat in meetings with the president of sales. I hit the wall about three hours ago. We are going to head to dinner. It is dark and overcast with the threat of rain. I can’t say I want to go out tonight but I always appreciate going after the fact.

March 16,2025, Sunday morning, 8:54am, pacific standard time,office park,Laguna Niguel,California,USA. NCAA tournament selection Sunday has always been one of my favorite days of the year. Before my daughter was born I would plan to take the first week of the tournament off. I was so excited to watch basketball during the day I didn’t want to be distracted by work. Today is a beautiful, crisp spring morning. Many memories of happy times are filling space in my mind. I have already worked out and grabbed coffee. I am going to head to target and take care of shopping needs before I lose momentum.

March 15, 2025, Saturday afternoon,4:16pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Aliso Viejo, California,USA. My daughter and her mom drove to Glendale this morning to shop for dresses and visit family. I woke up early, went for a walk, cleaned my bath/shower then came up to Aliso to spend the day with the dog. We are hanging out watching a show on Netflix. I am still plugging away on my affirmation book. Almost 700 entries. I changed the style of each entry a couple days ago. It makes them more powerful but also takes longer to write. That is fine. I am persistent. All will work out.

March 14, 2025, Friday afternoon,4:11pm,pacific standard time,office in Costa Mesa, California, USA. Only one hour to go before the weekend. Hanging out in the office, talking with people, clearing our emails. Right now work is a challenge. Numbers are low census wise and financially. Plus, referrals are slow. This place has issues but we will turn it around. It can’t happen fast enough for everyone involved. I am going to leave at 5pm and say hi to my daughter then go home and crash.

March 13,2025, Thursday night,7:08pm,pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. I am officially sick of going to the office. It isn’t the office per se. The space actually isn’t bad as far as offices go. I just don’t want to spend 50 hours of my week in any one place, the office or otherwise. That, coupled with sitting in traffic for an hour each morning and paying a toll to get home or to Aliso at a decent time in the evening is wearing thin. I am so ready for the weekend.

March 10,11,2035,Monday,Tuesday morning,4:46,pacific standard time,Planet Fitness parking lot, Laguna Niguel,California, USA. Yesterday was a drag. My sleep pattern was off and I woke up with a congestion headache on the back left base of my skull. I still have it this morning. The weather is rainy. That might be why my head still aches. Usually when a storm comes in I feel it. Be that as it may, I am thankful. I was able to get up and go for a walk before the rain really came down hard. I have a place to go today that gives me friendship and purpose and I am going to workout in ten minutes once the gym opens at 5am.
