Sunday morning

March 9, 2025,Sunday morning,9:11am,pacific standard time,office building parking lot,Laguna Niguel,,California, USA. My daughter called around six last night and wanted to drive around. I got dressed and picked her up. We ended up in Foothill Ranch and got a daiquiri ice from Baskin Robbins. I slept in this morning. Plus, it is the start of daylight savings so I am really out of my routine. Right now I am gathering energy to take the dog for a walk after finishing my workout at Planet Fitness.

Saturday

March 8, 2025, Saturday afternoon,4:49pm,pacific standard time,bedroom of apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. I decided for the rest of the night I am going to stay in the back half of the apartment. I shut the bedroom door and won’t leave until morning. It feels strange to sequester myself but at the same time it feels like a mini-vacation. Almost hotel like. It has been a good day. Got up around six, hung out in the apartment then walked on the treadmill at the gym. Afterwards I went to Aliso Viejo, took the dog for a walk, got my daughter lunch, hung out at the office parking lot in Laguna Niguel, bought some jerky and fresh berries at Albertsons, then came home. Now I am going to read and enjoy the sunset.

Rainy day

March 6, 2024,Thursday afternoon,3:48pm,pacific standard time,office in Costa Mesa, California,USA. It is cold and rainy today. And I am not in the mood to be here. I had a headaches so I took some DayQuil and ibuprofen along with a lot of coffee. I am ready to go home and call it a day. This week needs to end.

Tuesday/Wednesday

March 4,5,2025,Tuesday/Wednesday morning,4:49am,pacific standard time,Planet Fitness parking lot,Laguna Niguel,California, USA. My phone is broken. Only one plug-in works and it takes five minutes of fiddling to charge. Once it starts I am hesitant to unplug for any reason. therefore I didn’t write a post yesterday. It was a good day though. I completed my first month of work, albeit four weeks because that month was February but it still counts. We had our staff meeting yesterday. Nice to see everyone together and out faces with names. After work I took my daughter to dinner at The Habit. This week we have parent teacher conferences. I missed the first three yesterday. Because I was so busy I forgot.

CEO visit

March 3,2025, Monday night,7:51pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Today the company CEO visited our branch. He spent the afternoon meeting with office leadership and a couple marketing reps. I thought it went very well and told him so. He agreed. At 5pm we left for a short drive to the city of Orange for dinner with our medical director. All in all it was a good day.

The Villas

March 2, 2025, Sunday afternoon, 1:34pm, pacific standard time, parking lot of The Villas, Dana Point, California, USA. Stopped by The Villas apartment complex in Dana Point this afternoon. I drive by it practically everyday but haven’t stopped since November of 2022. This is where my daughter and her mom lived while I worked in Phoenix. I would drive from Arizona early Saturday, spend the day with my daughter, then sleep on their couch before driving back to Arizona Sunday. Walking the grounds brought back memories. It wasn’t the nicest apartment building or the best of time of our lives but we made it work. Funny how a moment passes and makes everything slightly more beautiful.

Saturday

March 1,2025, Saturday night,6:14pm,pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. I took a rare day off from walking and working out in the morning to stay home and write a little. Then I went grocery shopping. After returning a package and dropping off perishables I headed up to see my daughter. She was bored so we went for a drive. I decided to try and get to my office in Costa Mesa without using freeways. We drove quite some time. Right when I was about to give up we stumbled upon the street I was looking for. Success! To celebrate we stopped at Starbucks. My daughter wanted iced tea and string cheese. We got the iced tea but could not find cheese. After three stops we went to the grocery store and bought some there. It was a fun excursion and got us out of the house. After that I took the dog for a late afternoon walk past the middle school before coming back to Dana Point.
