May 8,2025,Thursday night,8:04pm,pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. It has been nice having my mom here. On the way home from work I stopped to say hi to my daughter and her mom. They hadn’t eaten dinner yet so I picked up Dominos pizza for them and got a thin crust pepperoni for myself and mom. We had pizza and Guinness for dinner. My daughter didn’t go to her dance as planned. It was a little disappointing. She bought such a pretty dress last month and seemed to really look forward to going. Not sure what changed between now and then but she didn’t seem upset like I thought she would. I guess she really is done with her school and ready to move on. Not that I blame her. She outgrew the experience a long time ago. The time has come for change.
