May 16,2025,Friday night8:04pm,pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Today went well. At work. We were extremely busy yesterday with five admissions. Most of them high acuity. Lots of nervous caregivers and overwhelmed staff this morning. I went out to visit two patients and do some service recovery. After work I came home. My daughter, her mom and the dog stopped by for dinner. We ordered sandwiches from Board and Brew up the street. Mom and I split a tuna. My daughter and her mom split a “turcado.” Now we are winding down and getting ready for bed. Moms flight is at seven am and boards at 6:30am. We will leave here at five. That should give her time to check a bag and walk to the gate with extra time to settle in. If all goes to plan she will be home in Wyoming by noon. it has been nice having her. The days went by quickly. Hopefully we will be able to visit her this summer or fall depending on work and school schedules.
