May 23,2025,Friday night, 7:21pm,pacific standard time,apartment complex parking lot,Dana Point, California, USA. slept in until five am this morning, went to the gym then took the dog for a full walk past the dog park. By adjusting my schedule and sacrificing getting ready at home I have saved $20 in gas this week, got back 24-36 extra minutes of driving each day and picked up 2 hours of sleep. I am glad I made the adjustment. I feel more alert at work and don’t need a nap in the middle of the day. I learned a valuable lesson: don’t be afraid to make big changes to get what you want.
