October 6,2025,Monday night,7:50pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point, California. Went to EoS fitness in San Clemente this morning. It wasn’t bad, just different than I am used to. The space is a little darker energy wise but no worries. It is nice to have an early morning workout option. I will acclimate to the vibe. When I got home this evening there was a candy bar and note on my doorstep. Apparently, I have a new neighbor in the unit above me. According to the card’s message the candy bar is a goodwill gesture for her dog barking throughout the day. That was considerate of her though I wasn’t home to hear the noise. I do hear the sound of paws on the hard floor surface but it isn’t anything unmanageable. I appreciate the gesture while a little bummed someone moved in permanently. The unit has been a seldom occupied short term rental the two plus years I have lived here. Having a neighbor up there will take some getting used to.
