Rancho

October 27,2025,Monday night,7:17pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point,,USA. I traveled to Rancho Cucamonga for a health plan meeting this morning. We got out early (around 11am) so I visited my daughter’s mom at her new office followed by lunch at chipotle. Instead of going back to work I drove to Aliso Viejo to see my daughter, get her lunch and drop off her AirPods. After that I lazed around all afternoon. It was the first day in a long time I wasn’t engaged. I wanted to take a break from work but willfully staying out of the loop gave me anxiety. While I was in Rancho I got a call from the recruiter I talked with last week. That didn’t help my mood. I don’t want to leave the company I am with but the potential job he is filling is a step up in responsibility and could result in a substantial pay raise. I at least need to see what it is all about. I wish my current company would make a decision about the Area Vice President role so I knew where I stand.
