February 18,2026,Wednesday morning, 3:35am,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Another rainy windy start to the day means another workout at EOS in San Clemente. Driving on wet roads, half-awake to start the day isn’t fun but I appreciate being indoors when I walk and getting better resistance training compared to days I don’t go to the gym in the morning. I suppose there is opportunity cost in every decision. Yesterday at work I had the director from the San Diego office visiting. Her daughter had a dance competition and Disney trip planned so she had a free day to hang out. It was nice to talk with her and discuss issues we see. I am happy to have someone close by I can relate to.
