Back in Arizona

3:41pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Chandler, Arizona, USA, Sunday afternoon, September 25, 2022. Took the dog for a walk this morning, then got on the road to Arizona. After arriving in Chandler I started laundry and took a nap. Now I am catching up on emails and listening to music. Nice to be back in Arizona, even for just a day.

Recuperating

3:50pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA, Saturday afternoon, September 24, 2022. We got back to the apartment at 2:30am yesterday and were asleep by 3am. The dog and I got up at 7am to move the car and grab some coffee. I managed to take a nap this afternoon, but still feel tired. I am going to spend the rest of the day recuperating and reading while my daughter plays video games in her room.

Quick nap

4:04pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA, Friday afternoon, September, 23, 2022. Going to the amusement park for an early Halloween celebration this evening. We won’t be home until late. I flew in from the Bay Area this afternoon after working at the hotel this morning. I am going to take a quick nap before we head out at 5:30pm.

Nice way to unwind

6:26pm, pacific standard time, hotel in Dublin, California, USA, Thursday evening, September 22, 2022. Virtual back to school night going on right now. I am attending online presentations by my daughter’s teachers. I am also texting with my daughter about going to the amusement park tomorrow night for an early Halloween event and watching football. It has been a nice way to unwind after a hectic week at work.

Out and about

5:59pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA, Saturday evening, September 17, 2022. Spent most of the afternoon driving around and going for walks with the dog. Now I am back in the apartment, enjoying a beer and catching up on college football scores. Nice to spend a day out and about, rather than cooped up inside like usual.

Dana Point Friday

5:59pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA, Friday evening, September 16, 2022. Took my daughter to school this morning, then picked her mom up from the auto mechanic down the street. After that I worked all day before going back to pick my daughter up from school and drop her mom off to pick up her car. Now it is time for dinner and a movie before taking my daughter to a friend’s house for a sleepover.

Orange County Thursday

7:04pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA, Thursday night, September 15, 2022. Spent the day working in San Bernardino then drove to Orange County this afternoon. The dog and I went for a walk before we ate dinner. Afterwards, I took my daughter for an evening drive. We talked, listened to music and stopped for ice cream. Now we are playing video games and doing laundry.

A good September Saturday

4:07pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Chandler, Arizona, USA, Saturday afternoon, September 10, 2022. Going to see a friend this evening, have dinner and hang out. This morning I exercised, paid my bills and finished some things for work. Then I ran to the store for groceries, watched football, took a nap and played guitar. A good September Saturday.

Back in Arizona

7:26pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Chandler, Arizona, USA, Friday night, September 9, 2022. Left the hotel in Dublin, California eleven hours ago. Drove to Oakland, flew to Orange County then drove to Arizona. Traffic was bad through Riverside and it rained outside of Phoenix but I survived. It is good to be back in Arizona.

Labor Day afternoon

3:31pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA, Monday afternoon, September 5, 2022, Labor Day. Spent most of the afternoon cleaning the kitchen, loading the dishwasher, doing laundry and prepping for the week. Not only am I packing for Dublin, California this week but Chandler, Arizona next weekend. Everything is in order for both trips. Time to relax and enjoy the the holiday afternoon.
