8:26pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Aliso Viejo, California, USA, Monday night, December, 12, 2022. My daughter and her mom are both sick. I originally stayed the extra day because her mom had a court case to attend and needed me to take our daughter to school. Instead, I spent the day with my daughter while she stayed home. The extra day away from the office was nice but, it is hard to fully engage through email. I will head out early and get to Palm Desert around noon tomorrow. There are only a couple days before I fly to Salt Lake City to pick up my mom for the holidays.

Two more days to recuperate
6:29pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Chandler, Arizona, USA, Friday evening, September 30, 2022. I got back to Chandler at 8pm last night then went straight to bed. I am sick and exhausted. I went out to buy cold medicine this afternoon but, other than that, I have spent the day in bed resting. I have two more days to recuperate before heading back to Dublin.
Sleep and recuperate
2:14pm, pacific standard time, Sacramento, California, USA airport. Thursday afternoon, September 29, 2022. Last night I started feeling under the weather. Rather than go to the office this morning I worked from the hotel, then drove to the Sacramento airport. My flight to San Diego boards soon, then I connect to Phoenix. I should be in my apartment by 8:30pm. I need to sleep the entire weekend and recuperate.
Family
4:49pm in the apartment. Went to the sporting good store earlier to buy shorts. Now I am home. I am not going out again. My wife called. Her, our daughter and our daughters friend are supposed to travel to visit tomorrow. My wife has a sore throat. She had work meetings with people from out of state. She is worried she is sick. I will see if they make the trip. I am here and ready for them to come whenever. I really want to see my daughter.
