December 19,2025, Friday night,10:40pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Our work holiday party was tonight. One of my coworkers parents has a nice property for hosting events. A small group of us got together, talked, laughed, drank and ate. Afterwards we played games and gave out gift cards a vendor provided. All in all it was very fun. I stayed longer than anticipated but was happy to do so. I enjoy spending time with people outside work hours.

December 18,2025,Thursday night,8:36pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. This morning during my pre-work nap, I had the sweetest dream about the WIL. It wasn’t anything gratuitous. We didn’t do anything extraordinary. It was just pure, sweet and made me happy all day thinking about it. So much time has passed since I have talked to her. Even longer since I’ve seen her. To have a beautiful moment with her, even in my mind, was nice.

December 17,2025,Wednesday night,6:13pm,pacific standard time,parking lot,school of rock, San Juan Capistrano,California, USA. I terminated the contract of a doctor today. It was unsettling having to call him and then follow up with a letter. He was nice about it but it still was hard. From a personal standpoint he is a nice guy. From a professional aspect the relationship wasn’t working. We will see how the next few weeks go. There are a couple personnel changes I need to make. Hopefully they go smooth.

December 16,2025,Tuesday night, 6:38pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Rushed home to do laundry and get ready for the rest of the week. Mom and I are watching food network and she is eating dinner. Otherwise not much happened other than working out at EOS and going to the office.

December 15,2025,Monday night,8:06pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. My daughter finished her high school curriculum today. It wasn’t easy or pretty (she got D+ in English) but she finished. That was the important thing. Now she can say she is a high school graduate. After work I picked my mom up in Dana Point and we grabbed Cane’s chicken on our way to Aliso Viejo to celebrate with my daughter and her mom. It was an eventful day for my daughter. She finished high school, had a friend over most of the day , collected a rare Pokémon card and to top it off, witnessed a mail truck explode right outside their front door.

December 14,2025,Sunday night, 5:34pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Got up around 5am and went to planet fitness to workout. I got back to the hotel at 8 and we got on the road at 9am. The drive wasn’t too bad. We arrived in Dana point at 2pm, took a quick nap, then drove up to Aliso Viejo to say hi to my daughter and her mom. Now we are watching Food Network and getting ready to turn in early.

December 13,2025,Saturday night,6:11pm,pacific standard time,Hampton Inn, Summerlin, Nevada, room 222. Flew to Salt Lake City this morning to meet my mom at the Costco off 300 west. From there we got coffee/soda off the 4500 South exit, ice cream in Beaver, Utah, gas and groceries in Saint George, and gambled in Mesquite, Nevada for a while. We arrived at the hotel in Summerlin about 20 minutes ago. It is so dark out it feels like 10pm. We are going to rest and get an early start tomorrow to beat weekend traffic.

December 12,2025,Friday night, 7:07pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. The previous tenant of my apartment reached out this morning looking for a piece of mail. I told him when I got home I would check. Sure enough when I looked in the mailbox this evening there it was. He is going to swing by tomorrow and pick it up. I of course won’t be here because I am flying to Utah to get my mom. I told him I would leave it between the screen and main door and he could pick it up whenever. That got me thinking. I have been in this unit coming up on three years now and I still get mail for them and other past tenants. Does that mean the people living in my old Arizona apartment get stuff addressed to me? I wonder what they do with it or what it may be.

My daughter and her mom are still sick so I came straight to Dana Point rather than stopping in Aliso Viejo. Tomorrow I need to get things ready for my mom’s visit. I was going to do some laundry tonight but I don’t have the energy right now. At work we had interdisciplinary meetings today along with a quality meeting and a safety meeting. That on top of staff meeting and the party Tuesday night has left me tired. I am going to bed early to recharge.

December 10,225,Wednesday night,7:28pm,pacific standard time,Apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Spent the day prepping for meetings. My neck is sore from staring at the computer screen. Tomorrow was supposed to be my daughter’s graduation ceremony but she sounds pretty sick. Not so sick she couldn’t rally fit In & Out burgers but pretty stuffy and sneezy nonetheless. I also got my car cleaned today. What a difference it makes when someone professionally maintains your vehicle. I need to apply that same principle to the dog and my apartment. We all would be happier then.
