June 14,2026, Sunday morning,7:47am, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. I enjoy having mom and the cat live with me. I expected the opposite. That I would resent the loss of privacy and personal space. However it is nice to be connected. I was lonely and didn’t realize it. With mom and the cat living in Dana Point there is someone here when I come home. And I still have freedom to go out if I wish. It is the best of both worlds.

June 13,2026, 2:32pm, pacific standard time, Planet Fitness,Laguna Niguel,California, USA. This morning I took mom to Albertsons to go grocery shopping. I had a flash moment where I resigned myself to getting a buzz cut next hair appointment. I am embracing the naked forehead look. It can’t be any worse than the cut I have now. I will still take the HIMS pills and revisit in a couple months but for now I am going short and sleek. Right now I am enjoying the afternoon. On the treadmill, watching triple d, listening to motivational running music. It is a great Saturday.

June 12,2026,Friday morning, 5:24am, paucity standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Yesterday after work I took the dog for a walk then drove around with my daughter. On the way to pick up pizza from dominos we had a little incident with a sharp right turn and an unforgiving curb. Luckily it is mostly scratched with little significant damage.

June 11,2036,Thursday morning,3:13am, pacific standard time, in Dana Point, California, USA. I got out the door at 1:40am this morning and was greeted by police activity in the cul-de-sac outside my complex. Multiple police cars, a tow truck, a Broken down pick up and a utility truck blocked my path. I decided to try and drive past the situation so I came back home, grabbed my keys and headed out. However the tow truck was blocking the exit so I ended up parking again and starting my walk by cutting through the adjacent park. I still had to walk through the situion but was at least able to get to PCH and complete the Santa Clara route.

June 9-10, Tuesday/Wednesday, 3:20am, pacific standard time, in Dana Point, California, USA. Not much exciting happened yesterday. Walked the Santa Clara route, worked, drove with my daughter, came home and went to bed. Today I have a busy day. Payroll, meeting at a local hospital and a happy hour get together. I will focus on the immediate now , do what needs to be done and make it a good day.

June 8,2026,Monday night, 8:32pm, pacific standard time,apartment complex parking lot,Dana point, California, USA. My daughter wanted to drive around more tonight so we went all the way out to dunkin/Baskin Robbins in foothill ranch. It was her mom’s birthday so they went out with a friend for dinner beforehand. My daughter was still amped up so she wanted to drive and talk. I was a little tired but glad for the time together. Now I need to go to bed.

June 7,2026, Sunday morning, 8:28,pacific standard time, in Dana Point, California, USA. It is becoming clear mom will stay in this apartment and I will find a new place to live. She is familiar with the area and it doesn’t have stairs. Once we get her place fixed up and rented she can afford the monthly cost. She can get furniture she wants which should make it more roomy as well. Today at 11:30am we are meeting my daughter and her mom for lunch at wood-ranch. We will celebrate her mom’s birthday. Yesterday my daughter and I went to the mall and bought earrings and a necklace from Brighton. Last night Mom and I had pizza and ice cream for dinner. It was pretty good. I am so much more at peace realizing Saturdays need to have something unique to make it feel special.

June 6,2026, Saturday morning, 8:55am, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. I took my first minoxidil/finasteride/biotin supplement this morning. It says it could be 6-12months for results to materialize. I am curious to see how it goes.

June 5,2036, Friday morning, 3:31am, pacific standard time,parking lot, apartment complex, Dana Point, California,USA. I came home last night to mom carrying a garbage bag full of clothes and a giant suitcase to the door. She was going to drive back to Wyoming regardless of the fact she can’t remember the route. Then this morning while returning from my walk I came across a man standing over a figure lying in the parking lot. I assumed it was my mom who suffered a fall. However it was someone else. I sympathized with the situation and encouraged the other man to call the police. I am not sure what to do. My daughter’s mom suggested looking into an assisted living in Wyoming. That might be an option.

June 4,2026, Thursday morning, 7:29am, pacific standard time, parking garage, office complex, Costa Mesa, California, USA. I am thinking about Wyoming and alcohol. How both rules my subconscious thoughts. And how both are gone. I have had a place to come home to in Wyoming for almost 47 years. For it to be gone is strange. I feel more relieved than sad. I got a quote to fix the dormer at moms. I will tell them to go ahead and get started.
