July 12,2026, Sunday morning, 5:56am, pacific standard time, Hampton Inn, room 136, Mesquite, Nevada, USA. We got on the road a littler later than anticipated yesterday after visiting the cemetery in Evanston. By the time we got to Salt Lake City it was noon. We had loaded up on food and drinks and were just about to leave when a woman pulled up and begged us to call 911. Apparently she had been hiking and got over heated. We supported her and gave her cold water until the paramedics arrived and took her to the hospital. After that the drive was fine. We stopped in Nephi, beaver, and a rest stop along the way. When we arrived in Mesquite no one felt like going to dinner so we had chipotle delivered. I did make a quick trip to Walmart next door to get wine for mom. I also walked in the treadmill for an hour. Now, the dig and I just finished our morning walk. We are hanging out in the room, relaxing until breakfast opens and we head back to Orange County.
