August 24,2026, Monday night, 9:10pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Work interrupted my evening walk and put me behind schedule. I didn’t get to Aliso until 7:30pm. My daughter was “napping” so I took the dog for a short adventure to get an extra half hour of cardio in. It was fun to be walking at sunset. I don’t experience that time of day very often.

August 23,2026, Sunday night, 8:38pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Worked out at is then walked the dog this morning. After that mom and I drove to the office to get supplies for a patient. I went to the movie Tony today but left halfway through. It was boring and work was getting busy. All night I was grouchy. I need some rest. Today was the 28 year anniversary of the end of my pastoral internship.

August 22,2026, Saturday afternoon, 4:40pm, pacific standard time, Planet Fitness, Lake Forest, California, USA. Woke up and did the blue lantern walk, came home and slept an hour, then went to planet fitness in Laguna Niguel. After that I took the dog for a morning walk before it got hot. Then I picked up mom to get coffee, groceries and gas. this afternoon I went to Home Depot and picked up a new outdoor mat for my patio laundry area. Then I went to Kohls and got a mat for the cat’s food and another one for her litter box. Plus I grabbed a wire brush to try and get some of the excess fur off her. Now I am leisurely walking the treadmill in Lake Forest, killing time before heading home or seeing my daughter if she is around .

August 21,2026, Friday morning, 6:47am, pacific standard time, Dunkin’ Donuts, Laguna Hills, California, USA. I did the Santa Clara walk this morning. On the way to work I decided to change up my morning routine and grab a midnight dark roast coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts. I wanted to do something fun and special on Friday morning. Life always feels better on Friday.

August 20,2026, Thursday evening, 6:30pm, pacific standard time, office complex gym, Costa Mesa, California,USA. It day, lots of meetings. Started off with a third straight day of eos. I like being indoors and being able to workout. I going to go home and try to get some early rest. An Addis Al hour of sleep would feel amazing right now.

August 19,2026, Wednesday night, 7:47pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana point, California,USA. Worked out at eos this morning, came back, went back to bed. Got through work. Not too bad a day. Worked out at the office gym then came back to Dana point. My daughter took mom to Costco. Which I am thankful for. However they bought a bunch of stuff we already have plenty of. It isn’t a big deal but I feel annoyed. I remind myself it is frustration with her. It is frustration with the disease process. Oh well, what difference to a couple more cases of coke and cat food matter?

August 18,2026, Tuesday night, 8:18pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California,USA. Went to The Craft House for my daughter’s birthday celebration. Afterwards we came back to the apartment and had cake. I ate too much. The food was delicious but very rich. this morning I went to EOS to workout then stopped in Aliso on my way to work to give my daughter a Card to start her day. Now I am ready to lay down and sleep off all this sugar.

August 17,2026, Monday night, 8:34pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California,USA. I have felt like crap all day. Not physically ill, just punchy and annoyed. I woke up and did the Santa Clara walk. Even though I went back to sleep afterwards I still felt tired. Then I went to work. The whole day was a trudge. Complaints, bad attitudes, service failures to deal with. After work my daughter and I got coffee together. I snapped at her over a trivial thing. Now we are all having a bad day. I took the dog for a walk. even that made me grouchy. I was too tired and it was stuffy even though the sun had set. I am done with this day. Time to turn in and go to sleep.

August 16,2026, Sunday evening, 6:33pm, pacific standard time, Planet Fitness, Laguna Niguel, California, USA. Finishing up the day with an easy treadmill walk. It has been a good weekend. My mindset is positive and I appreciate all aspects of my existence. This is the best I have ever felt mentally. I am in control of my emotions. I look forward to a productive week and continuing to grow professionally and personally.

August 15,2026, Saturday morning, 9:48am, pacific standard time, South County Lexus, Mission Viejo, California, USA. Came to get mom’s car service but ended up not needing it. That didn’t stop them from rotating and balancing the tires for three hundred bucks. I also purchased a rodent repellent service to deter critters from crawling around the engine.
