September 19,2026, Saturday night, 11:18pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California,USA. Went with my daughter to see the 8pm showing of resident evil in 4D at the spectrum in Irvine. it was a fun experience. She had a rough afternoon so we spent the day together. We took the dog for a short walk, bought a charger at Best Buy, got in & out for lunch, stopped in Dana point so I could change, the hung out in Aliso until the movie started. It is ironic moment that was so awful for my daughter produced such a good recollection.

September 17/18, Thursday:Friday, 4:44am, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. I woke up yesterday with a sinus headache/congestion. The kind I get once a month that lasts two or three days and is annoying hard to mitigate let along eradicate. On top of that it was our busy meeting Thursday so I couldn’t throttle down and take it easy. I took two doses of DayQuil and ibuprofen along with copious amounts of coffee to try and knock out the pain. I didn’t find a little reprieve in the afternoon but not much success otherwise. this morning I am still dealing hurting. It is hard because nothing takes the edge off. There is no reason to stay home because I can’t really sleep with the headache. I Just grit through it, take Medicine, use essential oils and drink caffeine. Last night on my way home I stopped by Buffalo Wild Wings in lake forest to visit with my daughter and her mom. We had a good time talking. It was an appreciates and unexpected moment to connect and share.

September 16.2026, Wednesday afternoon, 3:04pm, pacific standard time,office in Costa Mesa, California,USA. Things slowed down for a second so I am taking the time to relax and recharge. No need to over do it at work when things aren’t pressing. There are plenty of days to be stressed. Right now the light outside looks autumnal. Brings back memories of September days in Utah.

September 15,2026, Tuesday night, 8:52pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California,USA. Slept in until 2:30am and did the pch/santa Clara walk. I had a dental hygiene appointment today at 8am. No matter what I do I can’t to keep my gums healthy. Frustrating. The hygienist recommended certain flossing picks and a gum stimulator. Hopefully those help. after work I walked on the treadmill, took my daughter to move her car for street sweeping tomorrow then bought her dinner at McDonald’s. All while answering calls/emails and texts for work. I even had to create a new patient chart in the restaurant parking lot while my daughter ate. All in all it was a busy but fun day.

September 14,2026, Monday night, 8:24pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California,USA. I slept in this morning and skipped my first walk/workout. To be honest, it felt pretty good. My body needed the extra rest. Work went well. We were busy. Now I am administrator on call. I let the calls go to the triage rn now. They are better resourced and equipped to handle issues that arise and I don’t need more drama after hours.

September 13, 2026, Sunday night, 9:17pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Busy day. Went to EOS at three am and walked two hours on the treadmill followed by a chest/tricep workout. After that I did laundry. Then mom and I went to Costco for gas followed by Target and Ralph’s in Talega. We barely got home when my daughter and I drove to get her car, fill the tank with gas, change her oil and pick up the dog from the groomer. I brought mom home then went to mission viejo to watch Sunday night football with a friend. Now I am home and getting ready for bed. today was the dog’s seventh birthday. We celebrated with a haircut, short walk and an expensive dog cookie.

September 12,2026, Saturday night, 7:28pm, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana point, California, USA. A family friend rearranged the entire house these past two days. It is unsettled but kind of fun as well. It makes the apartment more spacious. I will roll with the change and be grateful for new experiences.

September 11,2026, Friday morning, 2:23am, pacific standard time, EOS gym, San Clemente, California, USA. Slept in a little later but still came to the gym. In the treadmill watching sports talk videos. Today a family friend is going to come and “de-clutter” the apartment. She will be there all weekend.

September 9/10, 2026, Wednesday, Thursday morning, 3:53am, placid standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Last night I took my daughter to In & Out for dinner. the drive thru worker missed us and didn’t take our order. When we got to the window they took our order and referred to it as a “home run.” Apparently that is how they prioritize orders for people who fail to order with the worker or at the microphone. This morning I overslept so I did the Santa Clara walk instead of going to the gym. About three quarters through I clipped my toe on the curb and took a tumble. Nothing major, a few scrapes. Of course that is how getting old always starts.

September 8,2026,Tuesday morning, 3:23am, pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. It is hot and humid in Dana Point. Sounds like it will be that way for the next two days. This morning I woke up at 1:22am and worked out at planet fitness. Now I am on the couch eating a vanilla almond builder bar. Yesterday, mom and I went to Albertsons for groceries then Ralph’s to get some more items for her and for my daughter and her mom. Later, we went to Aliso Viejo to drop off the groceries. I took the dog for a bathroom break then picked up dominos for dinner. Mom and I got back to Dana Point around seven and I was lights out by eight pm.
