November 24,2025,Monday night,6:53pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. The dog is sleeping over while they fix the drywall at my daughter’s apartment in Aliso Viejo. in hindsight I should have had her stay last night. I drove back and forth between Dana point and Aliso Viejo because my daughter was going to get ready for a friend excursion to San Diego at my apartment. But She wasn’t able to rally so I just brought the dog over instead. My daughter did stop and let the dog out on her way south and my daughter’s mom picked her up this evening. I stopped in Aliso on my way home to bring the dog back to Dana Point one more time. At this point I think we are all a little tired of being in the car.

November 23,2025,Sunday night,5:20pm,pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. I took the dog for a walk this afternoon. The sun was beginning to set and there was a slight chill in the air which necessitated a choice; wear a sweatshirt or walk in my short sleeved t-shirt. Recalling past walks I hypothesized being cold the first leg of the excursion but appreciating having less layers on the latter half of the walk. Sure enough, I was correct. The first part of the walk was cold, which had me wishing for the wind to die down and the sun to peek through. What struck me as ironic is usually I hope for the exact opposite; I usually long for shade and breeze rather than direct sunlight and calm atmosphere. That got me pondering a philosophical observation; one different variable can instantly change perspectives drastically. How many things do I hold as absolute truths that if my perspective tweaked, even slightly, would forever alter my perception and desire?

November 22,2025,Saturday night,7:15pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Slept in this morning then went to EoS in San Clemente to workout. Afterwards I came home and spent most of the day lazing around. In the afternoon I went to Target then drove to Aliso Viejo and watched Hazbin Hotel videos with my daughter and her mom. It wasn’t a bad day but a little alarming it slipped by so meekly.

November 21,2025,Friday night,7:09pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. This morning I slept until 5am. It felt good. I was at the point where rest was more important than exercise. I also got to nap this afternoon. Now I am energized. My daughter and her mom are seeing the movie Wicked tonight at 9:45pm. I have energy but not enough to do that. I am going to rest tonight and unwind this weekend. I look forward to the short week and our trip to Arizona Friday.

November 20,2025,Thursday morning, 5:04am,pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. The dog woke me up at 1am this morning. I went to bed late last night so I wasn’t in the mood for a long walk but there was no going back to sleep. Unfortunately it started ti rain off and on about halfway through and came down steady the last half hour. We were both fairly soaked by the time we got home. I hurried her into the shower, gave her a rinse off and turned on the space heater before making coffee, working out and eating breakfast. Now we are on the couch snuggling up before meeting my daughter at 8:30am and taking her to school on my way to work. The day has already been eventful and it hasn’t truly stated yet.

November 19,2025,Wednesday night,6:04pm,parking lot,school of rock, San Juan Capistrano,California,USA. I woke up a little later this morning yet still managed to do the LHC walk. More and more Christmas lights go up every day. It makes for a nice scene walking early in the morning. I went to a lunch with our marketer and a Dr in Yorba Linda called the blind coyote. It was pretty good but after dinner last night and having another big meal I am done with eating out for a while. Apparently there is a pretty extensive leak in my daughter’s bathroom. It is supposed to be repaired tomorrow. Looks like she will stay at a friends tonight and I will take the dog home with me.

November 18,2025,Tuesday night,10:04pm,pacific standard time, apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Spent most of today with our national medical director. She presented to the our staff this morning at the office. Then at 1pm we drove to garden grove and had lunch with her uncle who is a doctor in Orange County. Then this evening we met all the doctors from our branch for dinner at The Ranch in Anaheim. That made for a long day. I am sleeping in tomorrow.

November 17,2025,Monday night,6:48pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point, California, USA. Today was pretty blah. Worked out at Eid’s this morning then went to work. Came back via Aliso and saw my daughter. Tomorrow is a long day. The national medical director is in town and we have have three meetings scheduled. I am going to go to bed early and get as much rest as possible.

November 16,2025,Sunday evening,6:06pm,pacific standard time,apartment in Dana Point,,USA. I went up to Aliso this afternoon and put together an exercise trampoline for my daughter and her mom. After that I took the dog for a short walk and my daughter for a drive. Yesterday a company reached out to me about a president/cfo job. I said I was interested in hearing more. I haven’t seen myself as a financial officer but why not explore the possibility? It might be the way toward a different step in my career.

November 15,2025,4:16pm, pacific standard time,Starbucks in Laguna Niguel, USA. It has been raining all day. I planned on staying home but my daughter texted wanting food. By the time I got to Aliso Viejo she had already left with her mom. So I spent some time with the dog and dod some New York Times puzzles before going to get my car smog checked. After that I bought some groceries at Albertsons and then came to get a Thanksgiving blend coffee at Starbucks.
